Preparing a manuscript for publication is more than proofreading. The research question, method, evidence, ethics information and metadata all need to tell the same coherent story.
Building a complete submission
Current Science Georgia asks authors to provide a title, names and affiliations, corresponding-author email, ORCID where available, abstract, keywords, clearly structured main text and references. Ethics approval, funding and conflict-of-interest information should be included when relevant.
The first editorial screening
Editorial screening is not simply formatting. Reviewers and editors may consider the clarity of the argument, whether the method supports the claims, the adequacy of references and how well the paper fits a multidisciplinary scope.
Acceptance and the fee sequence
The journal currently lists an Article Processing & Publication Fee of 395 EUR, requested only after editorial acceptance. Authors are advised not to pay before receiving acceptance or an official payment instruction, and payment does not guarantee acceptance.
Verifiable records after publication
Discoverability depends on more than a search engine. Consistent author metadata, DOI fields, issue information, archive pages and verification records help researchers document a publication for CVs, grant files and institutional reviews.
A final author checklist
A useful final check is to compare the title with the research question, confirm that the abstract contains purpose-method-results-contribution, match every in-text citation to the reference list, review figures and tables, and standardize author and affiliation names.
Researchers can submit a manuscript for editorial consideration through the official form at https://csi.ge/submit-manuscript/. Preparation requirements are set out in the author guidelines, while csi.ge provides access to the journal and article records.
Editorial note: This article is based on Current Science Georgia’s publicly available author and publication policies. Submission does not guarantee acceptance; every manuscript remains subject to editorial and academic evaluation.
